in Thank You Very Much

The Daily Dribbles

It’s time for another Thank You Very Much.

What’s TYVM (Thank You Very Much)? It’s my way of sarcastically thanking all the little things that have ticked me off. It serves as free therapy, and boy do I sometimes need some free therapy!

To Santa, who brought the family Monster Jam tickets, Thank You Very Much. I can think of a thousand things I’d have rather done than sit at a Monster Truck show. Except, the joy it brought the boys almost made it worth it.

Thank You Very Much to the JC Penney Portraits worker that didn’t warn me that the picture I was ordering, in that specific size, would cut Buster’s head off. Thankfully (for real), the manager is going to allow me to order a different picture. I’m just bummed I can’t get the one I really wanted.

To the electrical circuit in my office, Thank You Very Much for suddenly becoming odd and no longer allowing my space heater to work without blowing a circuit. I’m a very cold person, and I need my heater to function. Now that it’s across my office and blowing at me, rather than blowing at my feet, I’m freezing all the time.

Everybody can use some free therapy. What/who do you want to thank this week?

For the body aches that made me a bum yesterday… Seriously thought I was getting the flu… feel better this morning (thankfully- for real)

and TYVM for the pink adult-sized footie pajamas (think Christmas story Bunny suit) that seemed like a really bizarre gift, but came in handy last night when I was freezing ~ Yup, I was THAT cold!

Sucks with the portrait, she should of known…they have the software that tells them exactly what picture look like at different sizes.

Being cold in the office is like a slow torture. I HATE being cold.

The portrait is kinda funny… in an irritating, they should have known better way. Seriously, did they think you wouldn’t notice? LOL. ;)

Can you use an extension cord for that heater? Sometimes I take my little heater and set it right on my desk so that it blows at my face. It’s hot but it sure takes the chill away.

That’s why I hate getting the kids’ pictures done. Something always goes wrong!

I’m an odd one because I would love Monster Jam tickets.

Sounds like you had a ton of fun at Monster Jams:) Jason took Henry and Grant a few years ago…somehow I managed to get out of it!

We (me and the guy across the hall from me) used to blow out the circuit all the time at my old office. We would have to take turns with our heaters. The funny thing was that his dad was the boss and was the one that kept it so cold. I would tell him to go tell his dad to turn the air up. Never worked.

Ugh- picture frames really just need to catch up with cameras as 8×10 is not a size cameras shoot in. But yea, the photographer should have known that.
