TYVM: Myself Edition

in Thank You Very Much

The Daily Dribbles

It’s time for another Thank You Very Much. It’s been awhile since I’ve done a “TYVM Edition”, so I thought it might be fun. And this one is dedicated to myself.

What’s TYVM (Thank You Very Much)? It’s my way of sarcastically thanking all the little things that have ticked me off. It serves as free therapy, and boy do I sometimes need some free therapy!

To myself, who is one of the biggest procrastinators I know, Thank You Very Much. I need to remember that time flies much faster than I think it does, and that when I actually have time, I need to get things done. Like responding to comments…from THREE weeks ago. Sorry everyone.

Thank You Very Much to my effed up body that is rebelling against me. The cramps and pelvic pain that left me pretty much unable to do anything but curl into a ball on the couch with a heating pad stuck to me all weekend? Not fun. Not fun at all.

To myself (again), Thank You Very Much for telling Buster that he could move into his new pirate bedroom this weekend. It wasn’t exactly the best weekend to be tackling a move like that. Next time, wait until you are absolutely sure that you can do it before you tell a 4 year old something like that. Thankfully for Buster, Jdaddy and I were able to kick it into high gear to get him into his new bedroom. He’s a happy camper, err, pirate.

Everybody can use some free therapy. What/who do you want to thank this week?

I get you on the procrastinator. Although some of mine can’t be helped lately. UGH, it always bites me in the butt.

Yeah, it always bites me in the butt too. I hate that particular trait of mine.

I’m good at procrastinating and it always comes back to bite me.

I hope you’re feeling better.

I hate when I say we can do something with the kids then it is the last thing I can or want to do! Always bites me in the butt. LOL

I always feel bad because Buster is so laid back. He would have been a little upset about not moving into his room, but he wouldn’t have thrown a tantrum or anything. Therefore, we tend to push things off when it comes to him, and that’s not fair. So I made it a priority.

I am a major procrastinator too. It used to work for me when I was younger…but now that I am older and more tired procrastinating just means I probably won’t get something done:) I hope you are feeling better! Are you going to share pics of the new pirate room…I would love to see it?!?

I work better under pressure, so I guess that’s probably why I tend to let things go. It’s a sickness. LOL

I will definitely be taking pics of his room. It’s not quite done yet. We have to add a few things that are on order. I can’t wait to share the pics.

OH I hated having those kind of cramps.. Reliv has eliminated all that mess and I was shocked at the results with that. I got on it to get the vitamins and stuff I needed. Ohh a Pirate bedroom I bet it is adorable..

I don’t get them often, but I have been lately. The doc thinks I might have a uterine polyp, so I’m having a scope done next week. I have been avoiding blogging about it, but maybe it’s time.

I’m terrible with procrastinating, seriously terrible. So sorry you had to suffer with those awful cramps this weekend. :(

Thank you. The cramps were terrible…the worst ever. Ugh.

I’m a huge procrastinator, but I actually work better under pressure, so it’s hard to stop.

Yes! I will definitely do pics when it’s all done. We are waiting on some wall decor before we can declare it done.

Don’t you just love it when you make your life more difficult than it has to be?! I know I am always soooo happy with myself when I act that way. :)

The crampy thing seems to be in the air, it hit me at the craft store the other day and it was all I could do to stay on my feet. Hope you are feeling better today! Can’t wait to see the pirate room…if you are going to share pictures. :)

My cramps were the worst ever this month. I couldn’t even stand up straight. I was so miserable. A motrin 800 didn’t work, so I finally had to take some vicodin.

I will definitely share pics of the room once it’s all done!

SO glad I am not the only procrastinator. I too should apologize for not being a good blog friend. Trying to get the new blog up and running and figure out what I am supposed to do with the other one and I am slowly catching up on my favorite blogs one at a time. Sorry I haven’t been around.

You’re fine!! No need to apologize. I just hate that I leave comments unanswered. I don’t think I can get caught up this time and that makes me sad.
