It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Proud Mommy Moments!
Please make sure that if you’re linking up, you’re actually linking a Proud or Not-So-Proud Mommy moment (using the permalink. Not sure what a permalink is? Just ask me). Links not related to PMM will be deleted and deleting links makes me feel bad. Please don’t make me feel bad.
Over the weekend, I took Buddy with me to Kohls to buy some new snow pants and boots. While we were there, I asked him to also help me pick out some clothes for Buster’s birthday. As we were looking through some shirts in the boys’ section, Buddy said to me, “Mom? Can I get one of those things that Dad has for his graduation?”
Hmm. One of those things that Dad has. That could seriously be anything, and I had no idea what he was talking about. I prompted for more information about the “thing” and Buddy said, “You know, the things that he wears to hockey games and stuff.” It turns out that the “thing” Buddy wanted was a shirt and tie.
My 8 year old boy wanted to be just like his daddy and buy a shirt and tie to wear to his dad’s graduation. How do you say no to that?
We promptly found the dress shirts and picked out one for him and Buster, and then we picked out ties for the both of them.
Buddy is beyond proud of his new shirt and tie. Whenever someone comes to our house, he asks if he can show them his “suit” (no, I’m not sure why he’s calling it a suit). And I’m beyond proud of Buddy for wanting to be like his dad.
Jdaddy graduates with his Master’s degree in Business Leadership on Saturday, December 15th. Of course I’ll take pictures, and of course I’ll share them here.
Okay! Now it’s your turn. Type out your Proud, or maybe not-so-Proud Mommy Moment and link it up! Don’t forget to check out Emmy’s Proud Mommy Moment as well! One last thing, PMM isn’t just for mom’s…anyone can link up!
