It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Proud Mommy Moments!

Please make sure that if you’re linking up, you’re actually linking a Proud or Not-So-Proud Mommy moment (using the permalink. Not sure what a permalink is? Just ask me). Links not related to PMM will be deleted and deleting links makes me feel bad. Please don’t make me feel bad.
Buster is a character. Always has been, probably always will be. He’s a sweetie pie for sure, but man, you never know what he’s going to say or do. As a mom, that can be terrifying. Especially when you venture into public.
Lately, he’s been on a roll.
The other night, he pulled the collar of my shirt down and took a peek at my boobs. Without missing a beat, he says, “Mama? Why are your boobs so big?”
Gee, thanks for noticing, kid.
Potty humor is all the rage in our house right now, thanks to Buster. It seems to come in waves. It’s normally Buddy who takes the lead, but lately it’s Buster.
Just last night, while getting ready for bed, we were in the bathroom. He accidentally (at least I think) ran into me. Well, he’s at just the right height where his head hit my butt. He then pipes up, “Mama! Don’t stick your butt in my face.” Well, that’s all it took for Buddy and Buster to dissolve into a fit of giggles. I have to admit, it was pretty hard not to laugh when they were giggling so much for so long.
And since I shared those two “not so proud” moments, I need to share one semi-proud moment.
The other night, the Green Bay/Minnesota game was on TV. When Buster heard the announcers say Minnesota, he said, “It’s not Minnesota, it’s Tiny-sota.” Jdaddy and I thought that was all kinds of clever for a 5 year old and I posted about it on Facebook. However, one of my friends then notified me that it was her favorite line from Rio. Doh. Buster’s only watched that movie one hundred billion times. That said, I’ve been reassured that it’s still clever that he remembered it and used it in the right context. I’ll take it.
Okay! Now it’s your turn. Type out your Proud, or maybe not-so-Proud Mommy Moment and link it up! Don’t forget to check out Emmy’s Proud Mommy Moment as well! One last thing, PMM isn’t just for mom’s…anyone can link up!

LOL gotta love potty humor. My 4 year old daughter is seriously into potty humor right now.
Silly boys….
Andrew is all boy and has been fake burping! I have no idea where he learned it but he thinks that it’s funny.
I do miss the increase in size of boobs that comes with pregnancy and nursing- sigh.
Too funny. And yes I think all kids- even girls- go through a potty humor phase, I think it just lasts a lot longer (if not always) with boys
Great PMM
Potty humor is big here too! I keep hoping it will die down a little, but nope they still think it’s as funny as ever!
Potty humor has finally died down here. Gotta LOVE that stage, right? Boys!
yea, I keep telling my husband to cool it on the fart talk…
