It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Proud Mommy Moments!

Please make sure that if you’re linking up, you’re actually linking a Proud or Not-So-Proud Mommy moment (using the permalink. Not sure what a permalink is? Just ask me). Links not related to PMM will be deleted and deleting links makes me feel bad. Please don’t make me feel bad.
First of all, I want to thank Emmy for continuing PMM without me these last few weeks. I wasn’t feeling well enough (or awake enough!) to blog, but I’m back…kinda sorta. I’m just taking things a day at a time. I’m ready to jump back into PMM though!
I have so many truly proud moments that I could share with you, however, I think I’ll just share what I’m most proud of, and that’s my big boys. They have been so incredible throughout this humongous change in their lives. Their lives were literally turned upside down with the arrival of Lucas…especially given that it was a surprise early arrival.
I anticipated some problems, but honestly, they have been great. I haven’t seen any jealousy at all. In fact, if anyone’s jealous, it’s our dog, Murphy. The boys have embraced Lucas, and have stepped up and done so much to be big helpers. I couldn’t be more proud of them. This could just be the honeymoon period, but I honestly think that they just are just very accepting of Lucas and the changes we’re all facing. I’m incredibly grateful for that, and beyond proud.
Okay! Now it’s your turn. Type out your Proud, or maybe not-so-Proud Mommy Moment and link it up! Don’t forget to check out Emmy’s Proud Mommy Moment as well! One last thing, PMM isn’t just for mom’s…anyone can link up!

My boys I think were born with a love of babies. Doug was thrilled with Jesse’s arrival, he and Jesse were over the moon with the arrival of Devin. Each of them loves having a new baby in the extended family. I am so glad my boys have a heart filled with joy and love for little ones.
Poor Murphy! lol! I am glad the boys are taking to their new baby brother so well. John had a hard time when Jami was born because he just couldn’t understand why I couldn’t pick him up! But he got over that quickly and now he just loves his little sister.
I’m glad your boys have surprised you and everyone is getting along! My 2 have only just started the bickering at 5 and 2! As a new reader ill have to back track in your blog but I’m glad you’re all ok
xx
Sounds like your big boys are going to be awesome big brothers!
Yea!! And you know with the ages your boys are- I don’t think this is just a honeymoon stage- I think they will keep loving the baby and being helpful.
So happy for you
Poor Murphey… he’ll get used to the baby soon enough! It’s great that the boys are doing so well with their new brother and it really is cause to be proud of them.
Way to go, boys!!!
