It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Proud Mommy Moments!

Please make sure that if you’re linking up, you’re actually linking a Proud or Not-So-Proud Mommy moment (using the permalink. Not sure what a permalink is? Just ask me). Links not related to PMM will be deleted and deleting links makes me feel bad. Please don’t make me feel bad.
I’ve mentioned before that Nick is my sweet but goofy child. Apparently he’s also pretty bright too.
The other day, we were driving in the car and Nick told me he wanted to be a race car driver. “A race car driver, huh?
“Yeah, I want to be a race car driver so I don’t have to get a job and work.”
Apparently we’ve instilled an awesome work ethic in him. Parents of the year??
On another occasion, he and I were watching Scooby Doo on TV. The episode involved science. During the show, he turned to me and in all seriousness said, “Mom, I know how to spell DNA!”
[me, trying not to laugh] “Oh, you do?”
“Yeah, it’s D. N. A.” [imagine HUGE smile on his face]
“You’re right Nick. Great job!!”
He so cracks me up. He’s a thinker, that one.
Okay! Now it’s your turn. Type out your Proud, or maybe not-so-Proud Mommy Moment and link it up! Don’t forget to check out Emmy’s Proud Mommy Moment as well! One last thing, PMM isn’t just for mom’s…anyone can link up!

Hey at least he has high dreams for his future. I am so glad you kept a straight face on the spelling of DNA. Got to love how their minds work at that age..
LOL, he doesn’t want to work but he knows about DNA. We’ll have to puzzle him out a career!
I would have had a hard time keeping a straight face when he spelled DNA. What a cutie
Lol! The DNA one reminds me of all of those jokes when people ask what is the number for 911
Too funny.
He’s hilarious!
I can just see his proud smile and puffed out chest over spelling DNA. And he’s a smart one for sure choosing a profession that is fun and not work.
Totally cracking up at the DNA one… that is genius! Love your kiddo – too sweet!
